Oasis Mental Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team, focusing on providing both telehealth and in-person therapy sessions to clients in Newark, New Jersey. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, alongside a generous sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to deliver services to clients through telehealth while also engaging in face-to-face interactions in a community health clinic setting. Our clinic operates seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, providing flexibility to accommodate both your schedule and the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ backgrounds and experiences, enabling the establishment of tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Deliver effective crisis intervention strategies during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and compassionate support for clients in need.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation that adheres to all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to the culture of shared knowledge and ongoing learning.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

Qualifications\n

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a caring approach to client interactions.
