Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate and determine the severity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, ensuring an accurate diagnosis and understanding of their mental health.

• Collaborate with clients to create and implement individually tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals, preferences, and specific circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to conduct engaging and effective therapy sessions.

• Provide educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders and available treatment options.

• Track and assess client progress throughout their treatment journey, making informed adjustments to optimize outcomes as needed.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive treatment experience for clients.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment methodologies to refine and enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health and ensuring they receive the support and attention they need.

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

This position carries a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 52,000 to USD 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
