Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, featuring a home care setting where the Physical Therapist engages directly with patients in their own environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' needs before establishing comprehensive treatment plans aimed at recovery from injury, disease, or surgery.
• Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic methods, such as targeted exercises and manual therapy techniques, to effectively ease pain and enhance mobility.
• Maintain thorough documentation of treatment protocols and patient progress, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Reassess and adjust treatment goals regularly, adapting therapy plans as necessary based on patients' changing conditions.
• Advise patients and their families on the use of assistive devices to promote independence in daily activities and mobility.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic procedures and equipment to ensure a collaborative approach to recovery.
• Continuously improve professional knowledge and skills through educational workshops, networking, and participation in relevant professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our home care Physical Therapists work with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors facing various challenges such as post-surgical recovery, chronic health conditions, and disabilities. This role requires an empathetic approach and adaptability to meet the specific needs across different age groups and health statuses.

Qualifications

• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Proficient in computer skills, including documentation software for tracking patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Physical Therapy, specifically in a home care or outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits
