Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Conduct engaging, supportive group therapy sessions, encouraging clients to share experiences and build connections with one another.

• Delivering Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling tailored to each client's unique background, helping them explore their emotions and develop effective coping strategies.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to establish individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their specific needs and aspirations.

• Monitoring Progress: Use various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to evaluate client progress and treatment effectiveness, ensuring adjustments are made when necessary.

• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, coordinating care and consulting on complex cases to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on teens and young adults seeking to overcome mental health challenges. In a safe and nurturing environment, you will address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional difficulties, guiding clients towards healthier coping mechanisms and a path to recovery.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Texas.

Ideally, applicants will have experience working within outpatient settings and with diverse client populations.
