Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and conditions, facilitating the creation of personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement effective therapy interventions that support patients throughout their recovery process.
• Evaluate the therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status of patients regularly to adjust care strategies effectively.
• Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions as per established protocols and the physician's care plan.
• Instruct patients and their families in appropriate therapeutic exercises, use of equipment, and self-management strategies to empower continued recovery at home.
• Prioritize patient caseloads, manage daily staffing needs, and coordinate with team members to ensure seamless patient hand-offs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes to track overall effectiveness and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in New Jersey.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Experience

• While one year of experience is preferred, we are open to new graduates eager to apply their knowledge in a practical setting.

Compensation and Benefits
