The Spindletop Physical Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team on Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing techniques from diverse specialties, including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports medicine.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to restore function and mobility, adjusting techniques as needed based on patient progress and feedback.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with state regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, maximizing therapeutic outcomes and enhancing overall patient satisfaction.
• Meet established performance goals, including patient utilization rates and treatment effectiveness metrics, contributing to the overall success of the center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographics include a variety of individuals from different age groups and backgrounds, who come to us for rehabilitation post-injury, surgery, or chronic health conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficient in computer skills, including electronic medical records and word processing, to ensure accurate documentation and communication.
• A commitment to building strong relationships with patients, emphasizing empathy and support in every interaction.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a practicing Physical Therapist is preferred, with demonstrated expertise in a clinical setting and a variety of patient populations.
• Experience in rehabilitation center environments, enhancing familiarity with patient rehabilitation workflows and interdisciplinary collaboration.
