About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Housing to join their dedicated team. The successful candidate will be a senior executive leader with a strong background in affordable and supportive housing, real estate finance, and non-profit housing operations. This role is pivotal in providing strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial stewardship for the organization's housing portfolio. The VP will be responsible for the preservation, development, and management of affordable and supportive housing assets, ensuring compliance with complex local, state, and federal funding streams. They will also lead large, multidisciplinary teams to support the stabilization and long-term success of low-income individuals, families, and seniors. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a related field, with 5-10 years' of executive leadership experience. The role requires a candidate with advanced knowledge of property management, including occupancy management, rent collection, and regulatory reporting. The VP will be expected to have a proven track record in managing substantial departmental and property budgets, as well as experience in structuring and optimizing complex financing mechanisms. Technical expertise in LIHTC, HUD, and NYC regulatory frameworks is essential. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional stakeholder management skills, a deep commitment to housing equity, and the ability to foster a culture of teamwork and shared accountability.
