Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct and facilitate psychosocial assessments and treatment planning sessions while maintaining meticulous records detailing consumer progress.

• Implement treatment plans developed under clinical supervision with a focus on measurable outcomes and improving client well-being.

• Maintain thorough and contemporaneous documentation on treatment plans, progress notes, unusual incident reports, attendance records, and discharge summaries as required for compliance and accreditation standards.

• Lead consumer groups and individual therapy sessions, fostering group dynamics and discussions geared toward personal growth and community building.
\n
• Engage actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and training sessions to ensure consistency in client care and promote a culture of professional development.
\n
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations, advocating for clients' social service needs and connecting them to vital resources in the area.

• Plan and assist with center activities that meet the specific needs of consumers, working alongside volunteers and interns to ensure fulfilling experiences.

• Contribute to marketing efforts by connecting with potential referral sources within the community, including outpatient programs and inpatient facilities.

• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice in compliance with the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association's Code of Ethics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role primarily focuses on diverse populations, emphasizing perinatal mental health, which addresses the psychological aspects of pregnancy and the postpartum period. You will work with clients across various age groups and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs, ensuring they receive appropriate interventions and support throughout their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active Social Work License required in accordance with state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).

• Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate with a multidisciplinary team within an outpatient mental health agency.

• Strong communication skills, with an ability to listen actively, convey information succinctly, and respect the capabilities of others.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, validated by a third-party reference check.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
