Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and gather detailed case documentation throughout the treatment timeline.

• Analyze clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to assess current conditions and identify areas of concern.
\n
• Develop and implement personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to individuals, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create and refine comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Maintain regular communication and follow up with medical professionals regarding clients who require additional support, ensuring integrated care approaches.

• Identify potential obstacles to recovery, actively working to address and mitigate these challenges through therapeutic methods.

• Provide guidance and education to family members and primary caregivers to enhance their understanding of mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals and families dealing with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your work will be crucial in helping clients navigate their unique challenges and achieve their comprehensive wellness goals through empathetic and respectful care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is required.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of psychotherapy theories and best practices, particularly those supported by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling in similar settings, demonstrating strong clinical acumen and empathy.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, for efficient patient management.

• Familiarity with addressing co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• In-depth understanding of psychotropic medications and their implications for treatment.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring effective client interactions and documentation.

• Demonstrated capacity for building rapport and trust with clients, employing a sympathetic and supportive demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n
