Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while effectively supporting our clients. Although our services are delivered via teletherapy platforms, we maintain a strong sense of community and team collaboration through regular virtual meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities. Our outpatient office in Schenectady, New York, serves as a base for our operations and a place for occasional in-person team gatherings.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients’ histories, strengths, and areas of concern, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver effective individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through at-home platforms, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the specific needs of each client.

• Engage with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach to client well-being.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, session notes, and treatment updates in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Stay updated on the latest research, methodologies, and trends within the field of marriage and family therapy to enhance treatment efficacy and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population encompasses a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families navigating various life challenges including, but not limited to, relationship dynamics, cultural transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression. This role is crucial in providing empathetic, client-centered therapy that fosters healing and constructive change in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related mental health field.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic services to diverse populations, exhibiting responsiveness to varying backgrounds and needs.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration with clients and fellow team members.
\n
• A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical practices within all client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in an outpatient mental health setting and delivering teletherapy services.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinical documentation standards.

• Experience in using specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, the following benefits are provided:
