Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center located in Franklin Park, New Jersey, where you will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals in a supportive physical therapy environment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' physical capabilities.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, including regular updates and consultations.
• Maintain detailed patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in documentation.
• Demonstrate proficiency in physical therapy treatments, assessing patient progress, and adjusting therapeutic regimens as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation strategies, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to encourage sustained recovery and injury prevention.
• Stay informed on the latest orthopedic practices and integrate evidence-based techniques into your treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will also engage with a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, and older adults, tailoring your approach to meet each patient's unique needs and capabilities. Your work will directly influence their recovery journey, supporting their return to daily activities and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's degree or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Two years of clinical experience, particularly in orthopedic settings, geriatrics, acute care facilities, or outpatient clinics.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic assessments, treatment modalities, and patient-centered care planning.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescriptions, and modalities for pain management.
• Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in physical therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Previous involvement in community outreach programs focused on health and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits
