Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients' physical capabilities and limitations, including the evaluation of their mobility, strength, and function.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize patient goals and are grounded in the latest orthopedic interventions.
• Utilize advanced techniques and modalities such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and long-term self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive management of patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied population of patients, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults addressing joint replacements or chronic pain issues. Our approach focuses on treating the whole person, addressing the physical and emotional aspects of recovery, and empowering patients to regain their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong foundation in orthopedic therapy principles.
• Proficient in clinical assessment, exceptional treatment planning, and execution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically in orthopedic physical therapy and knowledge of sports medicine modalities is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document treatments and outcomes is advantageous.
• Demonstrated capability to teach and guide patients through complex rehabilitation exercises and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonuses.
