Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' mental and emotional health, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique challenges related to trauma.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and coping strategies.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to help patients manage their symptoms and improve overall mental health.

• Deliver educational resources and workshops to both patients and clinic staff on stress management and trauma recovery techniques.

• Monitor patient progress closely, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary and providing ongoing encouragement and support.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, social workers, and community outreach programs to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure patients receive all necessary resources to aid in their recovery.

• Stay abreast of industry developments by completing continuing education courses to maintain National Certified Counselor certification while enhancing treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with trauma injury patients, many of whom have experienced significant emotional distress due to past incidents. The focus is on not only addressing their immediate mental health concerns but also guiding them towards long-term resilience and recovery through structured therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license.
\n
• Minimum of three years of experience providing mental health counseling specifically to trauma patients.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to maintain patient records and create treatment documentation.
