Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through virtual consultations, utilizing active listening and diagnostic skills.

• Develop personalized therapeutic plans based on clinical assessments, tailoring interventions to meet each client's unique needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Caring Connections Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and eating disorders. Our population encompasses individuals from various backgrounds, and you will be expected to create an inclusive therapeutic atmosphere that respects and values cultural diversity.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as either an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW registered in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, interventions, and the latest evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that allow for effective rapport building across diverse populations.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and an aptitude for utilizing standard computer applications pertinent to mental health practice.

• Commitment to ethical practice, including maintaining professional boundaries and safeguarding client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
