Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish therapeutic relationships with clients by conducting initial assessments, developing treatment goals, and providing ongoing therapy sessions via telehealth.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and other therapeutic techniques.

• Regularly review and update treatment plans to reflect the progress and evolving needs of clients, ensuring the highest standard of care.

• Work in tandem with other healthcare professionals and support services, facilitating referrals and coordinating care through ongoing communication.

• Accurately document all client interactions in compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring timely completion of necessary paperwork.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Positive Pathways, you will cater to a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and a range of other mental health issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and your role will involve adapting therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and valid license as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A minimum of one year of experience providing mental health counseling services in a relevant setting.

• Strong familiarity with community mental health resources to assist clients in needs beyond the therapy room.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues alike.

• A proven ability to build rapport and maintain therapeutic alliances with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
