Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments via videoconference to understand the unique needs and challenges of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness techniques to create tailored treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure the highest degree of professionalism and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide cohesive and holistic treatment approaches.

• Engage in regular peer consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies, ensuring the continuous improvement of care quality.

• Proactively educate clients and their families about mental health resources, coping strategies, and treatment options, thus empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse adult and adolescent clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mood disorders. Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York is mandatory.
