Inspire and Empower Counseling Center is on the lookout for dedicated and compassionate mental health professionals to join our team as full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselors. Utilizing modern telehealth technology, our counselors connect with clients through secure video sessions and chat services. • Engage with clients through individual video consultations, delivering compassionate mental health counseling to improve emotional and psychological well-being.

• Facilitate discussions that allow clients to explore and express their feelings, enhancing their self-awareness and interpersonal relationships.

• Serve as an advocate for each client, assisting them in defining and reaching their personal and therapeutic goals.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health conditions, and develop tailored treatment plans applying evidence-based practices and solution-focused methodologies.

You will work with a diverse client base consisting primarily of stable adults experiencing low-acuity mental health challenges. Each client is carefully screened prior to booking appointments, ensuring that you are only matched with individuals whose needs align with your expertise. This focused clientele helps provide a conducive environment for both therapist and client, enhancing the therapeutic process.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential. Candidates must be in good standing and able to practice independently without supervision.

• Strong interpersonal and empathetic skills are crucial for building rapport with clients.

• Proficiency in using technology, including telehealth platforms, to facilitate counseling sessions effectively.

A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling is preferred. Proven experience in telehealth or virtual counseling settings is advantageous, as it highlights familiarity with the unique dynamics of remote client interaction.
