The Century Road Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team as a full-time practitioner in a remote outpatient setting. In this crucial role, you will leverage your skills and expertise to deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals facing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. This full-time position is designed for individuals seeking flexibility and work-life balance. The therapist will work remotely, conducting sessions during normal business hours, specifically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be provided with the necessary technological resources to facilitate effective virtual therapy sessions and remain engaged with clients and colleagues alike. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their mental health status, identifying the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, setting measurable goals and continuously adapting strategies to align with their evolving needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to ensure effective intervention.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, helping them understand treatment options and encouraging healthy self-care practices.

• Continuously monitor client progress, making proactive adjustments to therapeutic approaches and treatment plans as necessary.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals in our practice to provide a holistic approach to client care and medication management.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards in documentation.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for the mental health needs of clients, working towards reducing stigma associated with mood disorders and fostering a supportive community.

You will primarily engage with clients experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clientele reflects a diverse demographic, encompassing individuals from different backgrounds, ages, and socio-economic statuses. The role demands a culturally competent and empathetic approach to effectively address varying life experiences and mental health challenges.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Proficient understanding and application of evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong comprehension of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and other healthcare practitioners.
\n
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive client outcomes, particularly within the scope of mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication and relational skills, fostering strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

• Experience working in a remote or outpatient clinical setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain efficient record-keeping and documentation.

• A background in providing culturally competent care to underserved populations.

The compensation for this role is competitive, with a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
