Work Environment

This position is primarily based onsite in the patient's home, allowing you to provide one-on-one care and support in a familiar environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and limitations.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing methods such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and equipment use to reduce pain and restore mobility.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment protocols, responses, and progress to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Regularly reassess patient status, refining therapy goals and modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Guide patients in the selection and fitting of assistive devices, ensuring that individuals are empowered to manage their self-care and mobility effectively.
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on therapy techniques and equipment usage to foster supportive environments that contribute to recovery.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices by engaging in professional development opportunities such as workshops and continuing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, from children to seniors, who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic illnesses. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active and valid physical therapy license in New Jersey.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
