Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations to identify psychosocial issues and barriers to care, enhancing students’ treatment outcomes.

• Implement individualized treatment plans by utilizing evidence-based therapies and modalities tailored to the developmental needs of children and adolescents.
\n
• Engage in regular consultation with medical and education staff to develop coordinated care strategies that promote improved patient experiences and outcomes.
\n
• Document all clinical activities in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate representation of patient progress in medical records.

• Educate patients and their families on treatment recommendations, fostering understanding and adherence to care plans to promote optimal psychosocial functioning.

• Advocate for students’ needs by identifying local resources and support systems, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their care within the school community.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and enhance collaborative care practices.

• Contribute to department statistics and reporting for quality improvement initiatives, ensuring services remain accessible and effective.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing various psychosocial challenges. You will be expected to address issues related to emotional distress, trauma, family dynamics, and academic pressures while promoting resilience and coping strategies within the school environment. The role requires sensitivity to the diverse cultural backgrounds and developmental stages of the clients you serve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by the State Board of Social Work Licensure.

• Thorough understanding of the clinical social work process and familiarity with community resources to best serve our student population.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least six months to one year of clinical experience, preferably in health or mental health settings focused on children and adolescents.

• Experience in school-based settings is a plus, including understanding individual educational plans (IEPs) and how they relate to mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
