Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess client needs and identify behavioral health issues.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each client's goals and preferences, maintaining documentation from initial contact to discharge.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Monitor client progress throughout treatment and adjust intervention strategies as necessary to support ongoing recovery.

• Collaborate closely with our team of healthcare professionals—psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers—to ensure clients receive holistic and coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In our practice, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals with various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Active and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to document and manage patient information effectively.

• Solid understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical standards in mental health care.

• Strong capability in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and other stakeholders.

• A compassionate approach to care with exceptional interpersonal and empathetic skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor in an outpatient setting.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic methodologies and intervention strategies to address mental health and substance use disorders.
