This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, leveraging telehealth technology to effectively reach and support clients. Our virtual facility allows therapists to conduct sessions from the comfort of their homes while maintaining direct and impactful connections with patients. The position entails a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for some flexibility based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to uncover patients' histories and inform treatment decisions.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that target trauma recovery and enhance clients’ resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive environment where clients can process their trauma and develop essential coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal client outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and responsive support during trauma-related emergencies, showcasing a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, alongside available community resources.

• Maintain diligent documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to track client progress and care.

• Participate in team meetings and professional development focused on trauma-informed practices and the latest advancements in mental health therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers on serving individuals who have experienced trauma and are on their journey to recovery. The patient population may include adults dealing with PTSD, adolescents facing the effects of complex trauma, and individuals with dissociative disorders. Each therapist’s expertise contributes to a holistic approach aimed at fostering healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities centered on trauma-informed care, and approaches to resilience-building.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude toward clients.

• An ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, acting as a calming presence for clients in crisis.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records and various computer applications relevant to mental health services.

• A collaborative spirit suited for working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who possess at least two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field, particularly with direct exposure to trauma-focused therapies. Familiarity with current research and best practices in trauma therapy will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
