Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Young Harmony Counseling Services, your essential duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and implementing effective treatment plans under clinical supervision, ensuring each client's unique needs are addressed.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and incident reports, to track client progress and compliance.

• Leading psychoeducational consumer groups focused on perinatal mental health, encouraging participation and community engagement.
\n
• Conducting individual and family therapy sessions to provide a supportive therapeutic environment.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers, community resources, and local agencies to assist clients in overcoming social service barriers.
\n
• Actively participating in team meetings and case conferences to discuss treatment strategies and share best practices.
\n
• Establishing connections with potential referral sources, including inpatient facilities and community-based programs, to ensure a steady stream of client intakes.
\n
• Upholding client confidentiality and adhering to the ethical standards outlined by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
\n
• Assisting in psychosocial assessments and treatment planning while maintaining thorough records of client progress.
\n
• Working alongside volunteers and interns to enhance community-based programs and activities aligned with client needs.

• Staying informed about industry standards such as JCAHO and Medicaid to assist in maintaining accreditation and compliance with mental health regulations.

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the clinical team to support overall operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing perinatal mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. Through tailored treatment, you will support these individuals and their families during critical transitional periods, thereby positively impacting their emotional well-being and overall family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• Valid authorization to work in the United States.

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.

• A current and applicable Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) as mandated by state regulations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
