Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to accurately diagnose a range of mental health disorders.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, diligently monitoring their effectiveness, and making necessary dose adjustments in collaboration with patients.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using diverse therapeutic methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and enhance the overall treatment experience of our patients.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Document patient progress rigorously, including responses to interventions, therapy outcomes, and any changes in symptoms, ensuring all records are compliant with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in regular follow-up appointments to assess treatment efficacy, address patient concerns, and optimize care plans based on feedback and clinical observations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and clinical supervision sessions to foster professional development and refine therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population of patients ranging from adolescents to adults experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other psychological conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in Psychiatric mental health.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the ideal candidate might have experience in an outpatient mental health setting, familiarity with electronic health record systems, and previous roles involving collaboration in interdisciplinary teams. Additional certifications, such as trauma-informed care training, are a plus and may enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
