Key Responsibilities\n

• You will conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health status of clients using standardized diagnostic tools and clinical interviews. This includes analyzing behavioral patterns and emotional states to inform treatment plans.

• Your role will involve designing and implementing tailored therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—to address clients' unique mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, ensuring a person-centered approach to treatment. You will regularly monitor progress and adjust interventions in response to client feedback and evolving needs.

• Provide virtual therapy sessions to accommodate clients who face barriers to accessing in-office appointments, showing dedication to accessibility in mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• You must possess a valid and active license to practice in New York state as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or be pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience working in outpatient mental health settings.
