Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, utilizing a review of medical histories and specific assessments to inform treatment recommendations and document findings.
• Communicate evaluation outcomes and tailor treatment plans collaboratively with patients and their families, ensuring alignment with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement effective and evidence-based treatment protocols, adapting strategies based on patient progress and the latest healthcare standards.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams, consulting with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring timely updates and clear communication regarding any need for reassessment or changes in treatment.
• Manage scheduling efficiently and attend all required team meetings punctually, contributing actively to departmental goals and initiatives.
• Participate in community engagement and marketing activities to enhance public awareness and accessibility to care.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to advance personal and organizational competencies.
• Serve as a mentor or clinical instructor to students and junior staff, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population for this role includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The physical therapist will have the chance to work with a diverse demographic, tailoring treatments to meet the specific needs and circumstances of each patient. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is necessary.
• No prior disciplinary actions against the license, ensuring a professional and ethical approach to patient care.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and exceptional skills in developing and executing personalized exercise regimes.
• Experience with WebPT EMR software to streamline patient interactions and documentation is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings is highly valued.
• Strong history of integrating evidence-based practices into therapeutic approaches.
• Background in patient education and involvement in community outreach programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development funding.
