The work settings at Positive Pathways Counseling Center are designed to be both conducive to healing and practical for professional growth. While this is primarily a remote position, you will also have access to our outpatient office as needed for team meetings and collaborative case consultations. The regular work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate psychological needs of children and adolescents, actively engaging with both patients and their families.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies and consider the unique developmental stages of each patient.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions addressing various mental health challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers to foster supportive environments conducive to their children’s development.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive coordinated and holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating quick and effective response strategies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options available, and local community resources to enhance support systems.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights that foster collaborative problem-solving.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to remain abreast of the latest best practices and research developments in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensing as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona is essential.

• A strong foundation of knowledge regarding child and adolescent mental health disorders, coupled with experience using evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience delivering therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, underscored by a compassionate and child-centered approach to care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
