This is a full-time remote position offering an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing behavioral issues, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills.

• Provide in-home therapy to children and adolescents, ensuring a comfortable and familiar setting that encourages openness and trust.

• Implement strategies to reduce high-risk behaviors, such as self-injurious behavior or aggression, through teaching effective coping mechanisms, anger management, and social skills.

• Collaborate closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and external specialists to form a cohesive network of support for each client.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to timely submission requirements.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, imparting insights and recommendations that contribute to the collective knowledge and best practices within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with children and adolescents ages 3-20 who are facing developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique needs these individuals may have, and a commitment to fostering their development through compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is essential.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is mandatory.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4 PM to 7 PM) is required; weekend availability is advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience in providing positive behavior support and effective intervention strategies.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to clients’ homes.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working specifically with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is highly desirable.

• Experience in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.
