Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students exhibiting symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders to develop effective treatment strategies.

• Create and implement integrated care plans that link students to appropriate resources and services, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to the specific needs and circumstances of each client.

• Participate actively in case reviews and integrative meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary teams focused on optimizing student outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring students and families receive timely support during critical moments.

• Document treatment plans, progress reports, and data submissions in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in outreach initiatives to engage and educate staff, students, and families on mental health issues.

• Maintain on-call availability during assigned hours to address urgent needs and provide immediate guidance to staff and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily serve a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents, many of whom come from under-resourced backgrounds. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and other mental health challenges, working closely with students to foster resilience and coping strategies. A cultural competence and sensitivity to the varied backgrounds and experiences of students is essential to effectively address their unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The starting salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
