Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations remotely, documenting client histories and ongoing treatment progress using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual client needs, encompassing therapeutic modalities suitable for various demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional healing, coping strategies, and personal development.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting interventions as necessary to remain effective and responsive to their needs.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, particularly those with complicated mental health profiles.

• Proactively follow up with clients and their support systems to ensure continuity of care, particularly for those requiring additional psychiatric support or hospitalization.

• Educate and empower clients' families and caregivers to effectively navigate mental health challenges and support their loved ones’ recovery.

• Stay current with developments in the field of mental health and telehealth practices to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on serving a diverse population within El Paso, addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance-related disorders. By offering culturally-sensitive interventions and therapeutic strategies through telehealth, you will help clients overcome barriers to mental health care, improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated clinical competence through prior experience as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Strong familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with additional incentives such as a sign-on bonus.
