Lifepoint Orthopedic Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient facility located in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population to provide personalized physical therapy interventions that address their unique needs and overall goals of recovery and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs, developing individualized treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Manage a caseload of patients, typically seeing one patient per hour to ensure focused, high-quality care.
• Administer evidence-based interventions that promote physical function and mobility, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and documenting all services provided in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and occupational therapists, to ensure a cohesive treatment approach for complex cases.
• Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs to facilitate proactive health management and prevent future injuries.
• Guide and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys, promoting adherence to treatment protocols and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
• Seek opportunities to reduce patient reliance on medications by recommending alternative therapies as necessary.
• Regularly review and evaluate treatment outcomes, ensuring that patients receive continuous feedback and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal candidate will work with a wide range of patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery from surgeries such as knee or hip replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. The focus is on helping patients regain their strength, flexibility, and overall functional mobility through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a good understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on patient education and empowerment.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating an ability to enhance patient outcomes effectively.
• Mastery of exercise prescriptions and the ability to adjust protocols based on individual patient progress.
• Experience in developing and facilitating wellness programs that promote long-term health and injury prevention.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
