Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish trusting relationships with youth clients, providing a secure and welcoming environment for them to process their emotions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on youth and adolescents facing mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance use disorders. This population often requires special attention and tailored interventions that not only address their presenting issues but also consider their developmental needs. You will be expected to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, creating culturally appropriate interventions to foster inclusivity and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position.

• Possession of a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is mandatory.

• Previous experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) is a plus.

• At least two (2) years of experience in social work or counseling, with a preference for candidates having five (5) or more years of relevant experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compassionate manner.

• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to effectively document client progress and communicate with team members.
