This role is performed in a remote setting, allowing mental health professionals the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions in a comfortable, client-centered environment. Expect a dynamic work schedule that primarily spans Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional evening shifts incorporated according to patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate the needs, strengths, and treatment goals of patients seeking support for substance use disorders.

• Design individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions utilizing established methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to promote engagement and progress.

• Organize and lead supportive group therapy sessions, offering participants a community-based environment to share experiences and coping strategies.

• Collaborate across disciplines by working closely with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated treatment approach.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing substance-related emergencies, prioritizing their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction, recovery options, and available community resources, equipping them with tools for sustained recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.

• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy in a clinical or community setting geared toward addiction treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
