Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and social needs, formulating individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Deliver engaging and effective virtual therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Regularly evaluate client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.

• Maintain detailed client records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice policies.

• Collaborate with educational staff and parents to design interventions, supporting the client’s educational goals and personal development.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and team meetings to stay informed about best practices in school-based mental health care.

• Advocate for clients’ needs and connect them to additional resources, involving the community or other mental health professionals as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on working with students aged 18 and older from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, including those from minority and diverse populations. Your expertise will guide students as they navigate common challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and academic stress. We particularly welcome applications from professionals with experience in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and those addressing men's mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active LCSW license to practice in Texas is required.

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience is preferred.

• Proficient in using CBT or Psychodynamic Therapy techniques in therapeutic settings.

• Possession of professional malpractice insurance.

• Experience providing psychotherapy to adults, particularly focusing on those aged 18 and older.

Compensation and Benefits\n
