Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video conferencing tools aimed at enhancing clients’ mental health.

• Facilitate discussions with clients regarding their emotions and experiences to foster self-awareness and promote healthy relationships.

• Act as an advocate for clients by assisting in the definition of realistic, actionable goals to aid in their therapeutic journey.

• Evaluate clients’ mental status through comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect best practices and your clinical expertise.

• Utilize evidence-based psychological methodologies to ensure effective interventions aligned with each client’s unique situation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will primarily consist of stable adult individuals presenting with low acuity mental health concerns. These clients are carefully screened to ensure that you will be working with individuals who are ready to engage in therapeutic processes. By creating a safe and nurturing environment, you’ll support them in addressing issues such as anxiety, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential, with active status and without provisional or limited licenses accepted.

• Competence in conducting thorough professional evaluations and making informed recommendations for treatment planning.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to create a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients, combined with a sympathetic and understanding persona.

• Strong proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to telehealth practices.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience is required, candidates with additional experience in teletherapy, client advocacy, or specific therapeutic modalities will be viewed favorably.
