Key Responsibilities Provide weekly supervision to practicum students, guiding their clinical development and licensure preparation. Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health treatment. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are evidence-based and client-centered. Maintain comprehensive and organized clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Engage in continuous professional development by staying up-to-date with current research, techniques, and trends in the mental health field. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clients will include individuals, couples, and families seeking support in navigating life's challenges, with a diverse range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and trauma. The Behavioral Foundation Center prioritizes a strengths-based approach, focusing on enhancing clients' resilience and facilitating their unique paths towards healing. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in mental health, social work, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling. Preferred Experience Experience in supervising or mentoring students, particularly those in mental health practicum programs. Licensed as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California. Professional liability insurance. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $120,000 to $140,000 annually, complemented by a $3,000 signing bonus. Our therapists enjoy a fully outpatient role in a supportive group practice setting, with unlimited earnings potential based on performance.
