ED RN

The Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) night shift and on-call is responsible for delivering skilled nursing care in a Level 4 trauma center and critical access hospital setting. This role involves patient assessment, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality emergency care. The RN must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, critical care environment. A minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience is required. Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to emergency patients in a 10-bed ER and 25-bed critical access hospital.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Respond to trauma and emergency situations with appropriate clinical interventions.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide continuous emergency nursing coverage.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in emergency, critical care, or trauma settings.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

• Experience working in Level 4 trauma centers or critical access hospitals.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or trauma nursing certifications.
• Experience with interdisciplinary team collaboration in emergency settings.
