We are seeking a senior, high‑impact Chief of Staff to serve as a strategic partner to the Co‑Managing partners of the Americas region at Simon‑Kucher. This is a highly visible leadership platform role designed to support regional strategy development and operational execution. The Chief of Staff will help shape, align, and operationalize the Americas strategy in close collaboration with the Co‑Managing Partners and central function leaders (Finance, HR, Marketing, Talent, IT, Operations, Legal, etc.). The role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution and requires strong commercial acumen, operational rigor, executive presence, and the ability to drive alignment across a complex, matrixed organization. How You Will Create An Impact Regional Strategy Development & Alignment Partner with the Co‑Managing Partners to refine and evolve the Americas regional strategy Translate strategic priorities into clear initiatives, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes Ensure alignment between regional objectives and global firm strategy Drive structured annual and quarterly planning processes Maintain visibility into performance metrics and progress against key priorities Cross‑Functional Coordination & Operational Execution Translate strategy into disciplined, measurable action across the region Act as the connective tissue across central functions to ensure coordinated execution of regional priorities Align functional leaders around shared objectives and timelines Identify interdependencies and proactively manage risks or bottlenecks Improve operating cadence, decision clarity, and execution follow‑through Support implementation of key transformation or growth initiatives Leadership Forum Design & Governance Serve as strategic architect and operational orchestrator for the region’s leadership cadence Design and orchestrate regional leadership meetings with clear objectives, decision frameworks, and outputs Elevate meeting quality by improving preparation standards and narrative clarity Support governance processes across the North America Regional Leadership team Drive decision tracking and accountability mechanisms Ensure transparency and consistency in communication across stakeholders Executive Leverage & Decision Support Prepare structured briefs, analyses, and synthesis for key decisions Provide scenario modeling and trade‑off analyses to support prioritization Anticipate leadership needs and surface risks or opportunities Support communications to senior stakeholders, partners, and global leadership Maximize impact and focus of the Co‑Managing Partners by reducing reactive demands and increasing strategic bandwidth Talent, Organization & Capability Development Support regional succession planning and leadership development discussions Partner with HR and Talent leadership to align workforce planning with growth priorities Identify capability gaps and recommend targeted interventions Help build scalable operating models to support regional expansion Authority & Operating Model The Chief of Staff is empowered to: Shape leadership agendas and operating rhythms Recommend prioritization, sequencing, and resourcing of initiatives Challenge misaligned or low‑value activities and resolve cross‑functional conflicts Work directly with senior regional and global stakeholders with high trust and discretion About You Experience 10–15+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or equivalent leadership environment Prior experience as a Chief of Staff, strategy consultant, or operational leader in a high‑performance professional services setting Demonstrated success working directly with senior executives and driving cross‑functional initiatives Capabilities Exceptional structured thinking and synthesis Strong commercial and financial acumen Proven ability to translate strategy into operational execution Executive‑level communication and narrative development Ability to influence across a matrixed organization without formal authority Strong prioritization and governance discipline Personal Attributes High integrity and discretion Low ego, high ownership mindset Comfortable constructively challenging senior leaders Energized by complexity, scale, and growth Resilient and calm under pressure The pay range for this position is $200,000-$225,000/year. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.
