Work Environment\n

This is a remote position, which provides flexibility in your work environment while allowing for high-quality interaction with clients through virtual platforms. The typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, although some flexibility in hours may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. Each day, you will engage in meaningful conversations that lead to positive changes in the lives of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans that honor their cultural contexts.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support and guidance during critical situations affecting clients' mental health.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them towards recovery.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in ongoing case conferences, team meetings, and training sessions to enhance your cultural competence and therapeutic effectiveness.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay current with the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment.

This role focuses on serving a wide array of patients, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant communities. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or Therapist in California.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and collaborate with other professionals.

• Ability to manage a flexible schedule to meet the needs of clients, including availability for remote therapy sessions.
