Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, focusing on building rapport and fostering strong therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethical standards.

• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to monitor their progress, address immediate concerns, and plan for potential discharge when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and periodically review person-centered treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Accurately document all client interactions, including progress notes and assessments, to ensure continuity of care.

• Perform intake assessments to understand client needs and devise appropriate treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, utilizing evidence-based practices to encourage personal growth and development.

• Engage in individual supervision sessions to support professional development and enhance clinical competencies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Brevard Family Counseling Services, you will work primarily with youth and their families. Your focus will encompass addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. You will engage with clients in a compassionate manner, adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet the diverse needs of children and adolescents.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.

• Demonstration of the ability to meet internal credentialing requirements in diverse clinical settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
