Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at DoCare Counseling Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Counseling clients individually via secure video chat sessions, focusing on improving their mental health and emotional well-being.

• Facilitating discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions and life experiences, leading to enhanced self-awareness and improved relationships.

• Acting as a client advocate by helping them set and define personal goals related to their mental health journey.

• Evaluating clients' mental states and developing tailored treatment plans utilizing a solution-focused approach informed by your clinical training and experience.

• Maintaining accurate progress notes documented securely to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work exclusively with prescreened clients who have stable mental health status and low acuity needs. This may include individuals experiencing mild anxiety, stress management challenges, or mild depression. By serving this population, you will have the opportunity to use your skills to prevent escalation of issues and contribute to positive mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• An active, independent state board-issued license, such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note: limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Demonstrated ability to perform professional evaluations and make informed decisions regarding treatment planning.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills along with a sympathetic and compassionate nature, enabling you to connect with clients effectively.

• Proficiency in technology and solid computer literacy skills to navigate online counseling platforms efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n
