Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize advanced technological tools, including cutting-edge software for measuring patient outcomes, to track and enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment progress, re-evaluations, and discharge summaries accurately and efficiently.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients to ensure comprehension of treatment modalities and to foster an active participatory approach in their healing process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the facility to coordinate comprehensive care for patients, enhancing multidisciplinary communication.
• Remain abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy practices, research, and regulations to ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be working primarily with patients who are recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and conditions. Our patient population includes individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. You will have the opportunity to develop specialized experiences in treating orthopedic diagnoses while also accommodating patients with neurological conditions, contributing to your professional development as a well-rounded clinician.

Qualifications

The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program. Successful applicants will maintain a current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, with a temporary permit also accepted. Moreover, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)/HealthCare Provider is required to ensure patient safety during therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience

While all licensed candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with experience in orthopedic therapy or a related clinical setting. Familiarity with patient management software and electronic health record systems will enhance your integration into our workflow.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
