Key Responsibilities\n

As an LPCC at Divine & Associates, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine suitable treatment approaches.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to support trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy settings.

• Delivering compassionate therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumatic experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and integrated treatment plans.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and immediate assistance.

• Educating patients and their families on the impact of trauma, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for support.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) within the state of California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, especially in trauma-informed practice.
