Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a variety of direct clinical tasks, including:

• Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
\n
• Providing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
\n
• Specializing in navigating complex issues such as alcohol abuse, psychological and physical trauma, grief and loss, family conflicts, and challenges related to separation and divorce.
\n
• Facilitating effective communication among family members to address relational conflicts and promote healing.
\n
• Documenting and maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engaging in team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment outcomes and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including couples, families, and individuals facing a wide array of challenges. You will address issues that range from job stress and medical concerns to the complexities of blended families and communication difficulties. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping patients find resolution and support as they navigate their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• An active LMFT license in the state of Connecticut.
\n
