Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention services and follow-up care to ensure ongoing support for patients in distress.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including the Department of Correction, to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
\n
• Lead group therapy sessions while addressing various mental health topics, facilitating a supportive environment for shared experiences.
\n
• Complete all required documentation in accordance with clinic policies and state regulations, ensuring compliance and thorough record-keeping.
\n
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions weekly with a designated Clinical Supervisor to reflect on practice, enhance skills, and discuss case management.
\n
• Routine participation in mental health and medical rounds to stay informed about patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
\n
• Contribute to case conferences, actively discussing treatment plans for patients and strategizing the best approaches for mental health interventions.
\n
• May conduct psychological testing as directed, providing valuable insights into patient conditions for enhanced treatment outcomes.

• Supervise interns or student volunteers when assigned, fostering their professional development and understanding of clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our ideal candidate will work with a diverse group of patients from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, many of whom face complex mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. The role demands cultural competency and sensitivity to effectively address the unique needs of each individual and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working within a community health clinic or similar setting is preferred. Previous experience in crisis intervention, group therapy facilitation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration can significantly enhance effectiveness in this role. Compensation and Benefits\n
