Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, documenting clients' histories and current presentations to inform treatment planning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect client goals, preferences, and methodologies tailored to meet their specific needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities rooted in evidence-based practices.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, utilizing assessments to modify interventions as necessary and ensure optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to provide holistic support to clients.

• Conduct follow-ups with clients post-treatment to prevent relapse and promote sustained recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges and available resources to foster resilience and awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. You will collaborate closely with clients from varying cultural backgrounds, tailoring your approach to suit their unique contexts. Your insight will not only contribute to their well-being but also help in dismantling the stigma surrounding mental health in the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within Washington State.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a mental health counselor, with a strong grasp of therapeutic techniques.

• Experience working with electronic health record systems, specifically familiarity with AVATAR or comparable platforms.
\n
• Proficient knowledge of mental disorders, treatment modalities, and the impact of both physical and emotional health on mental wellness.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on effective interpersonal interactions.
\n
• An empathetic approach and a willingness to provide client-centered care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior work in a remote counseling role is advantageous, providing comfort with digital communication tools.

• Experience managing complex cases, including clients with dual diagnoses involving addiction and mental illness.

• Knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices to enhance therapy effectiveness.

• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and the implications of medication management in therapy settings.
