Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation per ethical standards and state regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant laws.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development, training sessions, and workshops to stay abreast of the latest research in mental health and therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will be utilized to support a diverse array of clients, primarily those facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our patient population includes individuals experiencing socioeconomic disadvantages, who are seeking compassionate guidance and effective treatment options.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Connecticut.
