Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a range of routine and sophisticated laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established procedures.
• Evaluate test results, address discrepancies, and carry out preventative calibration and maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation, train new colleagues or interns, and contribute to sustaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a neat, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree coupled with ASCP or AMT certification eligibility.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT credential in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification status during your tenure.
