Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with clients through telephone consultations and in-person meetings to assess their situations and provide tailored support.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gather pertinent information about clients' challenges and needs, ensuring thorough documentation to assist ongoing care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and empathy to foster trust and safety.

• Facilitate referrals to external agencies and community resources, connecting clients to essential services that enhance their well-being.

• Develop and implement individualized service plans that incorporate the input of clients and their families.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering insights and recommendations to enhance collective service delivery.

• Stay vigilant for indicators of child abuse and neglect, implementing reporting protocols when necessary.

• Engage in ongoing supervision and professional development activities to continuously enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with children and adolescents facing a variety of social, emotional, and behavioral issues. This includes, but is not limited to, those impacted by domestic violence, emotional trauma, and family substance misuse. By addressing these critical issues, you will help empower clients to build healthier relationships and make positive life choices, ultimately leading to improved academic and social outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
