Work Environment

This position is onsite at our hospital facility in Sparks, providing a dynamic and collaborative work environment. Your schedule will typically range from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics extending until 8:00 p.m. Participation in weekend community outreach events and health fairs may be a requirement, allowing you to engage directly with patients and promote awareness of available health services. The average workweek will comprise approximately 40 hours, providing a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and screenings for individuals and families, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform your clinical decisions.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions, focusing on preventive care strategies to elevate overall community wellness.
• Work closely with community organizations to develop and implement meaningful health education programs that cater to the specific needs of the local population.
• Deliver culturally sensitive care, advocating for patients' rights and navigating them through the complexities of the healthcare system.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care protocols to ensure that patients receive continuous support in their healthcare journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on psychiatric mental health.
• Active nursing license in the state of Nevada.
• A Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, ideally within community health or public health settings.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your skills and contributions, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
